JA Inspire Volunteer Opportunities

JA Inspire is a two-day career exploration event that engages engages nearly 3,000 high school students from 35+ schools from Luzerne, Lackawanna, Columbia, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming counties in hands-on, experiential exhibits with local companies, exposes students to career opportunities, creates connections, and helps inspire them toward a pathway for future success. Students will interact with adults from over 85 corporations, small businesses, higher education institutions, the government, and other organizations representing 10 different career clusters.  We cannot have a successful event without volunteers and we're hoping you can join us!

Bus Greeters

You’ll welcome students & chaperones on their bus, direct buses as they drop-off and pick-up. This is an outside volunteer position so please dress accordingly.

 

Student Engagement

Greet students and hand out backpacks, escort the students to their assigned area and encourage interaction with exhibitors, take photos, hand out student surveys and organize students gathering to leave.

 

Floater

If you are only available for part of the morning and are willing to be flexible, please sign up under this slot. Let us know your availability in your comment.
